CNC machining center DECKEL DC-30 was produced in 1988 by well-known Germany manufacturer DECKEL. It is one of the largest producers of machines for metal processing. Their products are known in the entire world as high quality devices. CNC machining center DECKEL DC-30 allows to multi-task processing of the workpieces, it can perform such operations as boring, milling, drilling, core drilling, reaming, threading, processing quality control, and others. This center combines the functions of the various types of conventional machines. This machine is fast and very efficient and can be used in series production and in integrated production lines for processing large details or body parts. Thanks to its flexibility and multifunctionality is widely used in machining, in building details for airplanes as well as in other branches. CNC machining center DECKEL DC-30 has two rotating working tables with multiple-axis movements. Thanks to rotation of the table, it can present all four sides of a workpiece for processing without stopping working process. Length and width of these pallets are the same and are equal to 15.75 inches. This center is also equipped with system of automatic pallet changer, which ensures working operation in automatic mode, eliminating from the technological cycle of processing time for installation and removing details. Our machine like all the models of the machining centers is also equipped with system of the automatic tool changer, which allows the processing of the workpiece with different tools on the same machine without stopping or in minimal time. Capacity of it is 40 pieces. Working tool is placed in spindle, which perform processing of the detail with speed from 1 up to 5000 rpm. Control of all the operations is performed by CNC control SIEMENS SINUMERIK 3M. It allows changing in the automatic mode not only the feed rate, but also the spindle speed, gives commands to the automatic tool change, workpiece clamping, the coolant system and so on. Working programs or schemes can be loaded by RS 232 port. CNC control allows automatic fast moving in four directions. Length of the X-axes movement is equal to 19.875 inches, length of the Y-axes movement is equal to 15.75 inches and maximum length of the movement in Z-axes is equal to 19.688 inches. The fourth direction is rotation of the working table. Feed rate of the longitudinal, cross and vertical travel is 157.48 in/min. Installation power of the machine is 30 hp. Dimensions of the CNC machining center DECKEL DC-30 are quite large. Length of the machine is 169.297 inches, width is 141.734 inches and height is equal to 110.234 inches. Considering the large size of the center, it also has a corresponding weight, which is equal to 16534 lb. Machine is in a very good condition because in 2007 this machining center has undergone a major overhaul. During this repair was installed or replaced such things as main control panel with TFT display, power adapter PLC, spindle and its transmission, inverter of spindle drive ABB, three switching power supplies SIEMENS, installed two inverters for pallets changer, some of relays and contactors and wiring part.
